How do we support student success?
Programs, including mentors and student-focused conferences and workshops that give students the information and tools they need to reach their desired educational outcomes.
Personalized coaching for students needs and goals. Coaching is a way to offer students customized guidance that fits their specific situation and objectives.
Early Alert, available through 11 NCCCS campuses, to identify students who could benefit from coaching, and connect them with a coach who can guide them.
Expectations of members...
-Participate in Student Success Initiative Orientation -Utilize the Student Success Center, Library, and other JCC Resources -Attend all scheduled SSI events, counseling sessions, and Mentor meetings -Actively participate in SSI community service projects -Maintain a "Dress for Success and Impress" appearance -Maintain a GPA of no less than 2.0 -Attend all scheduled appointments and tutoring sessions. Adhere to mentor/counselor recommendations.
